Membrane Water Pump for Water Works

Time:2023-12-13

With the improvement of national standards for drinking water quality, many domestic water plants adopt ultrafiltration membrane water plant technology.

Ultrafiltration membrane water treatment plant is a technology that uses ultrafiltration membranes to treat drinking water and industrial water. Below, we will reveal the process flow of ultrafiltration membrane water plants.

Firstly, the raw water needs to be pre treated, such as impurity removal, iron removal, manganese removal, chlorine removal, etc. Pre treatment can effectively reduce the pollution of ultrafiltration membranes, extend the service life of membranes, and also have important significance for the subsequent treatment of water.

The second step is to chemically add chemicals to the raw water. The prepared chemicals include solutions, lime (for pH adjustment), and activated carbon (for adsorbing organic substances). Excessive and insufficient pH values can affect the ultrafiltration process, so it is necessary to balance various indicators of water quality.

Step three, ultrafiltration membrane device. Ultrafiltration technology uses membrane filtration technology, which can effectively remove organic matter, microorganisms such as Coliforms and bacteriophages, as well as suspended solids and sediment in water. Meanwhile, ultrafiltration membrane plays a role in isolation and retention.

The final step is disinfection treatment. The water after ultrafiltration still needs to be disinfected, usually using chlorine treatment to ensure the hygiene and safety of the water quality. In addition, ultrafiltration membrane water treatment plants also need to carry out some additional processes, such as residual chlorine monitoring, resistance H value detection, record statistics, etc., to maintain water sources and water quality. In summary, ultrafiltration membrane water treatment process is a complete process flow, which can effectively improve water quality and ensure the hygiene and safety of people's drinking water and industrial water through multiple steps of treatment.

In ultrafiltration membrane devices, pumps with strong vacuum pumping capabilities are required. Rotary pumps have strong vacuum pumping capabilities and are not sensitive to cavitation. Many projects use rotary pumps as membrane production pumps and membrane drug washing pumps.

A 170,000 ton membrane water production workshop at a water plant in Xinjiang is equipped with 12* 400 m3/h, LobePro rotary pumps and 4 sludge reflux pumps.
